Pedal Power, the all ability cycling service based at Alyn Waters Country Park, Wrexham was delighted to receive a cheque for £500 from Wrexham Erddig Inner Wheel on Friday 7th June 2019.
Ann Lankin from the Wrexham Erddig Inner Wheel presented the cheque to Peter Kennedy, Cycling 4 All Officer. The money raised was from a charity day held at Bellis Brothers Garden Centre in Wrexham where 3 local charities all benefited from the event.
Pedal Power is a unique service which provides truly accessible, outdoor activities for all. The variety of specialist bikes and trikes helps many people with different disabilities and health conditions to exercise achieve goals and have fun whilst doing it. The service costs a significant amount of money to run and relies solely on fundraising & volunteers to keep going. Groundwork North Wales support and manage Pedal Power.
